Russell Storey is a New Zealand based composer of instrumental electronic music. He has been writing and recording his own cosmic space music since he bought his first synthesizer back in 1989 and has so far released eleven albums. These are all currently available from AmbientLive, Groove Unlimited and CDS

 
 
Influences: Over the years Russell has been influenced by and has great respect for the creativity of the following artists: Tangerine Dream (both group and solo works), Klaus Schulze, Vangelis, Steve Roach, Andy Pickford, Ian Boddy, Ron Boots, Kitaro, Jean Michel Jarre, Robert Fox, RMI, Air Sculpture, Steve McDonald, Mark Shreeve, Rick Wakeman, Mike Oldfield, Otarion, Gandalf, Software, Peter Mergener and Shamall.
